not a committee

I have basically been having a lot of feelings since I started this show (and have been putting off finishing it, savoring it and taking my time because once it's over it will be OVER and there is precious little enough as it is and I just want it to last forever), and this whole idea of Didi's hero worship of Dahlia, it's come back again and again. There's something in nearly every episode that sets me off on this tangent again (I have a feeling that one day I'll write so many more words about this). In short...

Through the whole first season, even when Didi is being angry and vicious at her mama because she knows she's using, there's also this underlying thread where you can see that she absolutely worships Dahlia. That first scene where the family is reunited is a big one, but you see it in most of the episodes. Didi loves her mama. And, as angry as she is, Didi also never tells anyone precisely what is going on. She's protecting her mother.

Obviously this is something I needed to write about.
